Cassidy Turley Hires Skilled Veteran Leader Kenneth DiScipio to Head Firm’s Tenant Rep/Corporate Services in Northern California
Palo Alto, CA - May 14, 2012 - Cassidy Turley, a leading commercial real estate services provider in the U.S., announced today that the firm has hired seasoned corporate real estate executive Kenneth DiScipio as Managing Director in Northern California. Mr. DiScipio will be based in the firm’s Palo Alto office and report directly to Michael Kamm, CEO of the Northern California region of Cassidy Turley. He will be relocating from the Los Angeles area to fulfill his new leadership role with Cassidy Turley.
Mr. DiScipio will have primary responsibility to lead Cassidy Turley’s Tenant Representation/Corporate Services platform in Northern California. He will work directly with each of Cassidy Turley local offices to help enhance existing relationships and build new client relationships. He will also coordinate Multi-Market Transactions and Corporate Services work in collaboration with Cassidy Turley executives Frank McCafferty, an Executive Managing Director, based in Dallas and Craig Robinson, President, Corporate Services, based in New York. He will also work closely with the firm’s Project and Development Services group, led in Northern California by Jason Schlutt.
Mr. DiScipio has extensive knowledge and experience in corporate tenant representation. During his 19 year tenure, Mr. DiScipio has been responsible for completing transactions with a total consideration value of over $2 billion. Prior to joining Cassidy Turley, he served as Managing Director of Grubb & Ellis' Corporate Services Group, where he oversaw the Western region. In this role, he was responsible for new business development and had CRM responsibility for major corporate clients. Prior to joining Grubb & Ellis, he spent five years as the Managing Director for CBRE in Australia/New Zealand, responsible for day to day operations of the Wellington, New Zealand office and CBRE’s Corporate Services Group for the region. Prior to that, Mr. DiScipio spent nine years with CBRE in New York managing relationships with major corporations.
Mr. DiScipio has represented major corporate accounts, including but not limited to Aetna, City of New York, John Hancock, Prudential, First Union, NEC America, Fleet Bank, Vodafone, Domino’s Pizza, Ericsson, Nokia, TelstraClear, Westfield NZ/AU, Wells Fargo, Littler Mendelson, Sun Edison, United Rentals, Cricket Communications and Westline Insurance. Notably, he also served as an executive committee member of the clean energy and sustainability practice groups and was a member of the senior leadership team during his tenure with Grubb & Ellis.
