CPS CORFAC International Professionals Win Honors and Recognition at annual ASVB Awards

March 30, 2007 -- Santa Clara, Calif.- Five CPS CORFAC International professionals were recognized for their performance and leadership in 2006 by the Association of Silicon Valley Brokers at the association's annual event last week, announced Sutton Roley, President & CEO of the commercial real estate brokerage company.

CPS was recognized for the following:

• Jon DeCoite won Rookie of the Year, while Patrice DeLorey was a runner up.
• Chip Macdonald won the Mike Murphy Award. He was also a runner up for the Land Broker of the Year.
• Erik Hallgrimson was runner up in Broker of the Year Multiple Category.
• S. Greg Davies received special recognition for his many years of service on the ASVB Board of Directors.
• CPS was recognized for having the highest per-agent contribution to the ASVB Charity Awards Banquet.

Senior Vice President/Principal Erik Hallgrimson's performance qualified him as one of the Top-5 salespeople at CPS in 2006. It was the first time he has qualified as one of the firm's top producers. In 2006 Erik participated in 74 transactions with a total consideration of over $170,250,000.

Associate Vice President Jon DeCoite won Rookie honors for his first full year in the commercial real estate business. The former UBS analyst participated in 60 transactions with a total consideration of over $61,160,000.

Chip Macdonald, who passed away in December 2006, won the Michael Murphy Award posthumously for his contributions to our community, our country and for his lifelong accomplishments in commercial real estate. Chip was also runner-up in the land category for 2006. During his 28-year career, Chip leased nearly 2.1 million total square feet, sold more than 2 million square feet of developed space and also sold approximately 1,867 acres of land.

Over the years, CPS CORFAC International has consistently produced top-performing brokers by specializing in property leasing, tenant representation and investment sales. Most recently, the firm had the highest percentage of its sales force ranked among Silicon Valley's top 25 brokers, with four - or 13.33 percent. Its closest competitor had 9.62 percent of its sales force in the top 25.
