CPS CORFAC International Welcomes Solectron and IBM Veteran Bob Fernandes

November 21, 2007 – Santa Clara, Calif. –CPS CORFAC International's President Sutton Roley today announced that Bob Fernandes has joined the firm as Senior Director, Corporate Real Estate Advisory Services.

Mr. Fernandes has over 30 years of business experience with two of the globe’s best-known business brands. Prior to joining CPS, he was Corporate Director of Real Estate and Facilities for Solectron Corporation where he worked since 1991. At Solectron, Bob oversaw strategic planning, development, site construction expansions, asset management, property acquisitions and facilities management worldwide. At the time of his hiring, Solectron’s annuals sales were $236 million, with a facilities footprint of less than one million square feet. During his tenure, Mr. Fernandes facilitated the company’s growth to over 100 domestic and international locations and managed Solectron’s 23.5 million square feet of commercial property.

“With his extensive knowledge of corporate real estate and management experience for one of Silicon Valley’s biggest manufacturing companies and its large portfolio of properties, Bob will be a tremendous asset to CPS and solid contributor to our collaborative approach to client services,” said Sutton Roley.

Prior to Solectron, Mr. Fernandes was Facilities Manager with Conductus Inc., a leading provider of advanced wireless solutions. He started his career at IBM and for many years worked in various engineering and manufacturing jobs, including management positions.

A Bay Area native from Hollister, Bob Fernandes has traveled extensively throughout the USA, North & South America, Asia and Europe.
